David Thompson, Author and Screenwriter

Born in South Central Los Angeles during times of segregation, integration, and civil unrest provided fertile soil for David's imaginative young mind.

With a working mother and no father at home, he raised himself amongst players, drug addicts, alcoholics, and the innocents who were unaware of the game.

Regularly found at the business end of a police revolver or shotgun, drunk, drugged, and delirious, he lived and appeared to thrive in this senseless environment.

He believes God brought him through these experiences to tell stories kindled in this urban milieu. He hopes this will stop some from following that path altogether, inspire others to escape that course, and allow outsiders to sense the futility that is inherent in many individual's lives.

Now, let's get gritty, pathological, and                 soul-searching.

Chameleon

A naive woman discovers inner strength to resist the man who plays her love like a game.

Watch What You Pray For

When a nervous Hispanic woman prays for a change
to save her home from destruction,
she and the corrupt perpetrator of the plan switch bodies.

Deceived

      Believing she has found love,
a lonely young woman is ensnared in a deception.

This is where dreams come true, fantasy becomes reality, and where God opens doors to alternate spiritual dimensions that bare hypocrisy and reveals truths. Personal constructs are exposed as facades of our own making.

Look behind the mask.
